The water here isn't that clear, and the beach picks up bay trash, but it is pleasant and conveniently located (not crowded). A nice hike/bike trail parallels the beach. Restrooms are conveniently spaced.

My mom, son (14) and I enjoyed the visitor center. It was small but interesting and informative. We also loved walking along the shore. The view was beautiful. We we're entertained by the ducks and squirrels.

Not being from the area myself, I didn't realize how windy it would be here! It was a lovely view though!
