On the way to the string of Salt River lakes or as a destination itself, this is a fun "ghost town" to explore. Many interesting shops, food offerings, mine tour, railroad to ride - what more could one ask for? If Goldfield doesn't keep your...More

Stopped in for a visit with my nieces... Great coffee, espresso. The gem stone store had really nice jewelry at very reasonable prices, I felt very comfortable buying there. Lunch at the ice cream place was pretty good. I just heard that the restaurant wasn't...More

My family loves to visit the Goldfield Ghost town. My daughter loves rocks and there are no shortage of those! The general store has neat old west souvenirs and you can get ice cream and candy. They give tours and you get a real authentic...More

Great little Ghost town. Gift stores, Mammoth restaurant, Old west reenactments, train ride around the property, several camp spots for RVs/horse trailers with your horse. They also have horses there to ride (must pay for this).

My reunion group stopped at the Goldfield Ghost Town as part of a tour. It is very interesting. The restaurant was pretty good and just like a saloon in the old west. Nice place to visit.

Was disappointed in this attraction. Free to get in but any activity inside the park is an additional fee. We did take the train ride which lasted maybe 15 minutes large circle around the town. Conductor was very good and attempted to ease the lack...More

We went here on a Saturday, and we found several of the shops closed, the gunfight that was supposed to be acted out never happened, and the mine tour wasn't in an actual mine, but something that was dug out to simulate a mine. Rather...More

I think 2-3 hours is more than sufficient as suggested by others. You can shorten the time if you opt out of the train ride which circumnavigates the town itself. The narrative on the train about the gold mining that went... More
