My spouse and I headed out of Charleston on a day trip to Lewisburg to see some of West Virginia's countryside while on a four-day visit. Following the blue and white Route 60 markers out of town, we noted that the scenery became more rural...More

Driven this road too many times to count! Always a favorite! Brings back memories of years past. Have not driven the whole road at one time, but have done Charleston to Virginia line. Great alternative to the interstate or turnpike.

Love the scenic views of the rivers, streams, and waterfalls. A fall drive is a must! Beautiful in any season though but watch your speed! We picked up a ticket just before Gauley Bridge. A great inexpensive day!
