My son really wanted to go here but I was unconvinced. I went along out of paternal responsibility but was pleasantly surprised. I wasn't prepared for the impact that seeing the lifelike realism of the wax figures. Yes I have seen photos of the presidents, but to see them close up in 3-D was truly a unique experience. I will... More

There were only two figures that didn't look like their person (Martin Luther King - his face was drooping on one side & Michael Jackson - just was not similar at all). The rest were lifelike & realistic. Most took photos really well. We made wax hands together but they messed up - unfortunately it was dimly lit & we... More

I have visited this museum in Vegas and in Orlando and this was the worst one. It wasn't bad but not good either. The station to make the wax hands was unorganized and the gift shop was underwhelming. The Michael Jackson figure was horrible and was disappointed to not find a Michael Phelps. My daughter enjoyed it so that's all... More

All the presidents are here in wax= wow! located near Ford's Theatre. The kids really wanted to go, so we went. Glad we did. Fun time getting close to your favorite historical people. Great photo ops.

The lines were long (due to spring break) so I purchased my tix online while waiting. Glad I did, because it saved me almost $8 per ticket and we were in and out in just 30 minutes. I didn't know it was relatively small. I'm a history nerd, so I enjoyed the hall of presidents but my teen daughter was... More

All the way from Hawaii this was my very first time visiting the Mainland and I obviously had to go exploring. This review is long overdue, but just now had time to write it. =) Bought some tickets from their website. If you purchase online you pay $17.60 vs. $22 if you just walk in. I don't rememeber how much... More

I was so happy to have finally enter History! I loved everything the figures were so life like, and I could get enough of the museum. That was my main purpose for traveling to DC, I was there before and it was closed, but this time I did my research, and got the correct time, I was so excited. That... More

We visited Madame Tussaud's D.C. as an add-on to the Big Bus Tour. It was small, compared to what I remember from London, but really cool. You start with the Hall of Presidents and then there is a pop culture section. It was short, but sweet. The kids enjoyed it too. Close to the Metro stop on the metroline.

I love wax museums, and have visited them before, but never a Madame Tussaud's - you just expect them to be better. I paid $53 for 2 adults and 2 kids under 5 to visit for literally 20 minutes (and that was with saving $5 per person with a coupon code online). I went to the website before we visited... More
