I had a delicious huge sandwich and a soup. The food is good, it was fast. Excellent service. The pasta plate for the kids is huge, they can share. A little loud, there was a football game and the young men upstate were drinking, yelling which also gave a sens of live! I do recommend for lunch.

I went there when the place first opened in about 1978. It still looks the same which I really appreciate. I spent a lot of time there while in graduate school. The old pictures on the wall are a hoot. Good bar. Make sure to walk into the back area to see what is there.

We stopped here after reading reviews from Trip Advisor and weren't disappointed. The menu had loads of choice and the service was good. My husband had a Philly Steak and we had burgers which were well presented and tasty. The waiter was really helpful and friendly an all round good experience which didn't break the bank!

I was looking for some Fish and Chips as a delicious lunch time meal and this restaurant/bar caught my eye after I saw they were making it for only $12! The Fish and Chips wasn't the best I have ever had but it wasn't terrible, I remember as I was eating it I turned to my friend Seano and said... More

My two teenage children and I enjoyed a lovely meal in the charming garden of Mr. Smith's on a Saturday night. After being informed there was a 35-40 minute wait at other nearby restaurants we stumbled upon Mr. Smith's. The bar is in front and was noisy and crowded, but once we walked to the back the garden was open.... More

After reading the reviews on countless restaurants in the Georgetown area I was starting to become bewildered. This restaurant boasted reasonable prices, a piano bar, and an outside fireplace. Sounded enticing and it turned out to be the best meal we had on our stay. The service was impeccable and extremely friendly. I believe our server's name was Daniel. He... More

Lovely dinner in the garden's. Our waitress was in training her first night and I ordered the $1,000.00 burger. Our waitress was so surprised and when I found out that was really the price I was surprised too. Great atmosphere and we will be back soon.

If you like the piano bar and sing a long on weekends, this is the place to be. Great atmosphere, lots of fun and the piano song a long man does a great job. Best days to hang out are Saturdays, though it gets crowded after 10pm. Lots of college people. Love it. The food is not very good. I... More

Like some of the other reviewers, we went here recently with our daughter who is attending my Alma Mater. We had fond memories of Mr. Smith's brunch on Sunday morning from our days living here when I was an undergraduate student. My overall recommendation- leave it to the undergraduate students. If you're over 30, trust me, your tastes have changed... More

My husband had fond memories of this place from his college days in the 1960s/1970s, so he took me here for dinner, promising that we would enjoy the piano bar afterwards. First of all I was disappointed that the main dining area was a lot more CASUAL than I'd expected with the same cheap white plastic chairs you expect to... More
