Whether you agree or disagree with what the protesters and signs say, it is nice to live in a country in which people are free to camp outside the home of the highest office and have a right to voice their opinions.

Nice little park near the white household. Expect to see a nice collection or protesters on any given day.

I've always liked this 7 acre public park, but this time around, on a pleasant October afternoon, it was undergoing one of those (quite frequent) periods of disruption, with ugly wire screens blocking-off large chunks, and workmen noisily beavering away - 'hopefully their worthy efforts...More

This is a nice park behind the WHite House. There were a few protesters when we were there - not protests against the president, but against China. Statue of Lafayette

This is a nice park with a nice/ unique view of the White House, and definitely worth a visit when visiting the White House.

A great place to walk around. A lot of interesting buildings and such around. A great way to see the area is on foot. Parking your car could be a problem.

A great little park across from the White House. Beautiful historical statutes that are worth seeing if you are in the area. Near Blair-Lee House. This park has a small imprint, but has some nice benches with great shade trees.

Located across from the White House on the other side of Pennsylvania Avenue--which is closed to traffic, this is a spot for protesters and site-seeing. Much of the park is currently fenced off for repairs, but most of the monuments can still be seen. After...More

We are always surprised when we research a point of interest. Today, it was the statue of Andrew Jackson at the Battle of New Orleans in Lafayette Park. Just don’t walk by, but take a close look at this statue. It seems that the sculptor,...More
