Not much shopping but the food and drink options! Wow! Everything looked and smelled great! What we did have was terrific (kamboucha, acai bowl, pork bun) Parking was easy!

The star food was Guacamole BLT at Neopol. Market style allows family members to get different foods. DC Dosa was fair. Some great foods, but if you want water that’s not been sitting in a plastic bottle, pack your own. Also, Indoor seating at a...More

Grab an Uber (am I allowed to say that?) and go to Union Market through some beautiful residential neighborhoods and enjoy strolling through ethnic food paradise. There is something for everyone here in this industrial area turned into a market a la Pikes Peak. We...More

If you want to eat, and I mean REALLY eat, you head to Union Market. Bring the kids, let everyone pick something from their favorite vendor (we love Takorean and Peregrine Coffee), and enjoy a beer or cocktail while listening to live music. Stay observant...More

Boring. There aren’t good places to eat. Only for snacks or having good time with kids or friends. It’s disappointing like LA market and many markets in US. I don’t know why Union market in Washington is considered “a place to visit”....

I sure wish I had known about this on previous trips to the capital. This is a collection of very diverse, interesting, ethnic counters that serve creative and wonderfully-prepared food. If you are looking for frills and presentation, it might be best to go elsewhere....More

The food offerings are eclectic and delicious, honed through the competitive process of the food hall. Prices are high — but what did you expect? Public transport to this place is not super convenient, but there is a big parking lot for you drivers. There...More

Lots of pop-up retail assembled together with various food stalls (and a permanent restaurant) make this space worthy of a few hours of your DC tourist time.

This place has higher than normal prices. Yes. However the food is also AMAZING. I ate at TaKorean The tofu and cauliflower tacos were so good. Get the kale slaw

The selection and variety of food offerings are both excellent —whether you want to eat there or carry out. The parking is much more convenient than Eastern Market. We went there to purchase fresh meat from the butcher for home, but we plan to come...More

I'm sorry, I don't know. I don't live there, we were visiting our son and he took us there.

As far as I remember, it's mostly food vendors. You can eat at some of them and there's a very nice sit down restaurant at one end.
