Although we have been here in the past (as well as in NYC), this time, our visit was abysmal. The store smelled like mothballs, but we thought perhaps it was some older people near us when we walked in. Unfortunately, all of our food tasted like mothballs, as well, including the quiche, grilled asparagus, sandwich, and macarons. The only things... More

Having lived in the DMV for some years, I truly didn't appreciate the store until I moved away. A true respect and appreciation for food is found here. While the prices are high, the quality is high as well. Their dessert case is a sweet fanatics dream. The Pineapple Sage Macaron is simply beautiful. The chocolate Bakba.... amazing. The Beef... If you're like me and you like your machiatto's really caramel'y then look no further. Dean and Deluca has by far the best caramel machiatto's. Also if you like your biscotti's more cakey, and having aniseed as a top note, then Dean has the best of these. The barista keeps a jar full of these at the counter. Humongous and... More

I had lunch at Dean & Deluca on Thanksgiving Day. The two most positive things are the the food is excellent and you have the flexibility of sitting in a good area and then going back for more. Our group of 10 was unusually indecisive so the flexible set up came in handy. Everything I tried was very good -... More

We only get to come here occasionally, but we've long been, and continue to be, admirers of this up-market Outlet - we suppose, the most appropriate description is "Deli", but calling it just that, doesn't really do it justice. Anyway, we stopped-by in October, and a few things grated with us. We purchased some (reasonably priced) Coffees & Snacks from... More

We ALWAYS stop here and stock up on cheeses, pick up a picnic lunch and some sort of yummy dessert and buy a bag or two of coffee beans. Parking in georgetown always a bit of a problem but is worth it.

We decided to try the chocolate. It was a hard choice because their store is huge and chocked full of delicious-looking goodies. We indulged in the $80 a pound Strawberry Chocolate. It was pretty good. The staff was very nice and I'd like to go back to try some of the other items.

Stopped in on the way to a dinner engagement and was amazed at the selection of holiday treats. The chocolate covered almonds and flavor marshmallows were a take home find. The place has many different great specialties.

We stopped here for a light lunch on our last day of holiday in DC. Our sandwiches were made to order, delicious soft bread, great choice of fillings and a nice table outside to enjoy the food and watch Georgetown pass us by! A great choice - would definitely recommend.
