We loved the ambiance, the superb service, and the food. We went for lunch and took our teen sons. Another reviewer mentioned that the special of the day is the way to go. We had the special of the day (scallops and linguini) and it was to absolutely perfect! We are obvious tourists, but we were treated as well as... More

I randomly stumbled across this bar and was so impressed I went back the next night. The bar tender and manager there are so friendly it made you feel you were drinking in their own home! The bartender has great skill in suggesting and making cocktails. Such an awesome place I would happily have my wedding there.

Our second trip was even better than our first. The wait staff remembered us from last year, and treated us as welcome guests. The food, cocktails, wine selections, service, and overall experience was top rated.

I have been here numerous times over the years. It is a DC power tradition and you will feel it. The decor, menu, staff are in need of some new energy. Not a bad experience, but not a great one either.

I chose this as a nice place to go on the last night of my short break to the States and was not disappointed. From the moment we walked in we found the staff were very attentive and efficient. We decided to take our time and never felt hurried. The steak I had was to die for. We had 3... More

My wife and I have lived in the DC region since 1996, but I ate here for the first time today, as I met a friend for lunch. Once is enough. Eat here if you are a senator, representative, lobbyist, or if you want to be one. Otherwise, the greeter will identify you as someone unimportant and treat you accordingly.... More
