Excellent concept, kids love it, but needs renovations!

Washington, D.C. location- I will only give this a 4 out of 5 because of concept and service. We were a little apprehensive about this place from the reviews, but went anyways... read more

I took the kids on a day off from school. They LOVED it! Themed rooms to explore (pirates, basketball, crafts, painting, storytime, baby room, train table, so much more!) The kids were having too much fun to sit and read any of the hundred of books at their fingertips. We brought lunch with us to eat in the snacking room... More

My son loved it. Lots of great concepts for playrooms, but toys were broken, walls and floors were dirty and some outlets were open. Worst of all the changing table just had a cloth cover no covers to dispose of. Disgusting. Fun place just make sure you're on top of your kids and change your kid somewhere else.

I went with my husband and daughter, paid the $21 dollars for all three of us and within seconds decided this was not the place for us. They did refund us the money when I asked them to. It is a great concept but not well executed. The place needs a good overhaul...as in cleaning, new toys, etc.

The toys had missing parts: train tracks but no train, play workbench without tools, sand table without sand, etc. We spent an hour there and it was a struggle to find enough to do. It was definitely NOT WORTH the time or admission price.

Washington, D.C. location- I will only give this a 4 out of 5 because of concept and service. We were a little apprehensive about this place from the reviews, but went anyways because the concept sounded very exciting. So in a nutshell, excellent concept, younger kids had fun with tons of educational opportunities, but the facility location was not ideal... More

My daughter turned 4 this weekend and we had her party here. I had never been here before and was concerned due to the most recent reviews. My, was I surprised. The place appeared to be as clean as can be expected with little toddlers running around and playing. The party room was much larger than I expected, the kids... More

The main question is, the State of Wash D.C do you have a health dept or fire inspections?? This place is in violation of so many things that I am shocked it is allowed to operate.Every room consists of broken toys with sharp edges or missing pieces. Most toys are sticky from layers of ick on them. The dress up costumes... More

Yuck! Unsafe! Horrible! The toys were old and dirty, most were broken and none had batteries. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. The rooms are tiny with no space for the kids to actually play. The toys are missing pieces and everything is messy. It looks like they gathered up a bunch of used toys from tag sales... More

We were visiting my brother for a few days and it was HOT outside and after dragging 2complaining young children through the zoo the day before we decided to stick close to home. I will admit that my brother lives 5 doors down from the playseum so it was ridiculously close. My daughter is 4 and my son is 1.5.... More
