We didn't get tickets in enough time to see the White House, so we did this. This is the best thing we saw in D.C.!!!! It is very informative, very well laid out and displayed. You learn so much about the families and them as...More

25+ years ago, we were able to queue up & go around the White House. This is no longer possible unless you are recommended by your Congressman; which is difficult for non-Americans. But the White House Visitors Centre is well worth a visit, to find...More

We started our WH visit with a 45-minute stop at the Visitors Center. Very glad we did as it provides lots of information including a short film. Would recommend it.

As a foreigner I can't go into white house. This is something what presents history, knowledge and shares memories with us. A lot of original anhics, fantastic movies and histories inside.

We did this in lieu of a tour of the White House (didn't get on the ball ahead of time). It's a great little museum that highlights the White House as a home and as an office. Lots of interesting things to looks at.

We were not able to get a White House tour so we visited the visitor center as a substitute. There are actually a lot of nice artifacts in the center. This should really be classified as one of the museums you should visit in D.C....More

Since it's so hard to get on a White House tour even if you request it way ahead of time, this is a good alternative. A lot of interesting display. They had their own Junior Ranger badge. Nice gift shop too!

Wanted to see the White House but you have to book days in advance. This is an informative experience with lots of interesting things to see and things to learn. A shirt film adds to the experience.

You need to get in line about 45 min - 1 hr ahead of scheduled time. Will take some more time to get through 2 levels of security check and x-ray, bag check etc.
