This was something we came upon during our walking and it was a simply a fun tribute to a great man You just wanted to have your photo taken The sculpture was perhaps a little cartoon like but that was part of the charm

Albert Einstein was a genius and an amazing man, and his statue is a fitting monument to him. It’s larger than I had initially pictured, though I’ve read some reviews say it was small. It’s easily accessible, right across the street from the Lincoln Monument...More

The Albert Einstein memorial is a little bronze statute that is a tribute to the man. He was a highly intellectual man.

This is a great statue for taking photos. It is big enough to have people in his lap too. Really a nice tribute to the smart man!

Easy to miss as you approach the Lincoln Memorial or the Vietnam Memorial, but worth a quick side trip of only a few feet.

Riding round on a tour bus I spotted the statue to one side off The Mall. Bigger than I expected but not sure why it’s not more serious - didn’t realise Einstein was maybe a fun guy after all?! You can get up close and...More

After seeing a photo of this Memorial I wanted to visit myself. Enjoyed being able to sit on his lap and have my photo taken and I like the relaxed stance of his pose. Worth a visit which won't take too long.

The Albert Einstein Memorial is not technically inside the National Mall but it is definitely a part of it. Its probably the most western thing on the National Mall. If you are coming from the west, you will notice it on your left on the...More

Statues that can be interacted with are the best ones. Einstein is friendly, invites interaction, and includes an encouragement to take pictures and post them with the hashtag #PhotosWithEinstein. We did. A delightful little destination after we were done with our day’s museum visit.
