We wished we had known about the concert series before hitting up this unique collection. Otherwise, our eyes enjoyed several 'bucket list' pieces of art. The added bonus, the bees wax room.

I went for an exhibition and stayed for he museum. It is wonderfully arranged. It has a good book/gift shop with may interesting items. The café is smallish and the seating was cramped but it was pleasant spot for refreshment.

I had not visited the Phillips since it was significantly updated. I went to see a wonderful impressionist exhibit, but I also enjoyed art that I remembered being in their permanent collection.

By chance, we had read about this Collection. A wonderful small museum that gives a wow factor. We walked through numerous neighborhoods to find this building. Added at the last minute and absolutely loved it!

There is much to see here - from the permanent collection to ongoing exhibitions. Easy to navigate - spotlight tours on individual paintings are not to be missed. Great neighborhood.

The permanent collection itself is quite nice, and the architecture is extraordinary. We thoroughly enjoyed the Gauguin to Picasso exhibit and all that it included: Jawlensky, Dieberkorn, Soutine, Chagall and many more. The Phillips is for a more sophisticated art history buff. Definitely has a...More

My fiancé and I really enjoyed the Phillips Collection, mostly because we prefer impressionist art over anything else and there was a lot for us to see. Additionally, there was a Picasso exhibit from Switzerland. The only art museum we liked better than this was...More

We visit a lot of art museums and rate this as one of the best. The placement of the art is exquisite and they rotate their collection frequently. The lighting is perfect and they discourage kids so the museum is quiet. The staff are young...More
