Travel for work, family, and friends brings me to Washington, DC many times during the year. Every time I visit, whether professional or personal, I use Old Town Trolley Tours as they are undoubtably the best in the city. On several occasions, I have been fortunate enough to have the conductor known as DC Steven. He is a rarity even... More

Smiley was a fantastic tour guide/bus driver. He was very engaging and entertaining, as well as knowledgeable about the significant sites. He blended humor and information so well, it will be tough to forget some of the facts he shared. He interacted with the people on the bus incredibly well, asking questions, issuing scavenger hunt challenges, and using other methods... More

Why didn't they say you have to get off the bus to see the White House? I was on a short time schedule and I missed out on a glimpse of the White House

The tour was awesome, got to see all the main monuments in only three hours. Lincoln Memorial, MLK Memorial, Jefferson Memorial, Washington Monument, White House, a ton more but those were the big ones. We made several stops to get out and walk around the monuments as well. Bus driver, Smiley was HILARIOUS! He made it so much fun, making... More

Our driver shared the scripted infor5of course but as a 30 year resident he shared tons of personal knowledge of the area and monuments. It was cold and I thought 2.5 hours was going to freeze me out, but all of the anecdotes and history kept me engaged the entire time that I seldom noticed that it was below freezing... More

For a first timer in DC, this is a must. There is SO MUCH TO SEE and SO MANY MILES to cover. This hop on and off trolley delivers you to the monuments, exhibits, and museums. We have a family of 4, with two teen girls. For us, it was the way to go for our first time in D.C.... More

We stood in the rain for over 45 minutes at stop 21 on the morning of January 17th. We called and they said several of their drivers did not come in and they would be there soon. This was not true. Several tour companies passed our drop off location, many times. We went to Arlington that day. The wait at... More

This is a great way to get around, and our driver was full of interesting facts! The DC at nigh tour took us to the Lincoln Memorial, Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial, FDR memorial, Iwo Jima memorial, plus drive-bys of the senate, white house, etc. Great tour!

This tour service is PHENOMENAL!!!!! My girlfriend got her and I a two day pass as a Christmas gift this year. The tour guides on the trolleys are humorous, insightful, and extremely personable. There are about 13 stops spread out across DC at all major memorials, museums, and Arlington Cemetary. You can hop on and off as many times as... More

This is a great way to get around. Park your car once or take the metro to the Welcome Center. Hop on the trolley and jump off at the White House, various Smithsonian museums, Union Station (for lunch), Jefferson Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, Capital, etc.
