Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A lovely sculpture of the heroic war women played in the War. They were the nursers and aides who tended to the wounded. Key fact: 98% of the wounded that got to the hospitals survived their wounds. A short walk south of the Vietnam Veteran's Wall.

Unfortunately, it looks like an old-fashion memorial from 1920 with such an exaggerated expression of pain that looks fake. Excellent goal but a missed result. Go see rather the main Vietnam memorial: it is worth the visit.

Only small area but still a touching part of the wider Vietnam Memorials. Features three women caring for a fallen soldier illustrating the different and important roles they did during the Vietnam War. The women who lost their lives are also named on the main wall

If you get a chance to see this memorial, please take it. It serves as a reminder that the men are not the only folks who defend our country.

Memorial was nice but it was out of the way and off the “beaten path” that if we weren’t looking for shade, we would have passed it by.

Although I only had a few minutes at the Vietnams women's memorial, It was a nice small tribute memorial.

This is an extremely moving bronze statue, commemorating the largely unrecognized efforts of women (nurses) during the Vietnam War. It is excellent and long over due to remember the 10,000 women who served in Vietnam. Furthermore, it ties in to deaths and injuries of the combatants in this war. This memorial was added in 1993 to the Vietnam Memorial site. The only negative is that it is tucked away from the main Vietnam Wall and as a result, most visitors do not see it.
I highly recommend that this as worth visitng. Plus away from the crowds, one can better contemplate the suffering and sacrifices of this war.

Nicely presented. You can feel the emotion of each of the women represented. There’s some benches you can sit and take it in.

So much is said and shown about the male soldiers who fought for us, and, literally, so little is said about the brave and dynamic women who were close-at-hand while they did it.
They were the backbone that comforted and patched the warriors as they were injured; they were the lifeblood that flowed into them to keep their bodies alive and helped them return to their homes.
Thank you all for your sacrifices and contributions.

I have been to the Vietnam Memorial more than twenty times. My brother and brother-in-law served in the military in Vietnam in the later 1960s and early 1970s. I feel that I honor their service as well as the many others who served in that undeclared war. This year we (my grandsons and I) had the opportunity to listen to a homeless veteran explain the symbols beside the names of the men and women that were lost during the war. I had briefly explained this war to them, but this veteran captivated them with his presentation. My grandsons will be talking about this experience for years to come. You should come to the Vietnam Wall when you have the opportunity. You will be sad, but proud of our soldiers!
