Some exhibits have been updated, but still best to visit the Air & Space museum Hanger, which is bigger and better. This location has some great features to explore. The new exhibits on the history of space is awesome. Staples are the history of flight too. Museum is trying to update with new Aviation technology, but still a bit out-dated.

I have not been to the National Air and Space Museum for many years and this was my wife's first visit. If you have even the slightest interest in the history of Aviation you have to visit this wonderful museum. The Exhibits are incredible with plenty of facts. Give yourself plenty of time as the Museum is quite large. If... More

Amazing amazing place and all this is free to everyone. There were older men with military hats on revisiting the past and many young people amazed at being able to touch and try so much that you o ly see on TV. Thank you for making this the best museum in America. Loved it!!

It was very hot the day we visited, so it was very nice to walk into the air conditioned museum and see really cool machines. I'm not really into aircrafts and space or anything, but it was still interesting to look at different pieces of history. My husband had a blast especially with the vehicles from World War II.

The Air and Space Museum is above awesome. Had exciting displays for the youngsters, historical displays for those older folks who enjoy such things ( I especially recommend the room devoted to the Wright Brothers) and movies for everyone! My whole family would love to return.

Very Very busy, Lots of kids that their parents took here but really not the right age to understand what was going on. If you have been to Kennedy Space center or a Boeing plant. This place is kind of a let down. A quick walk thru is okay once. Wouldn't go again

We enjoyed the visit and the museum is laid out nicely so you can easily find yourself moving from exhibit to exhibit without issue. The space area was a favorite as well as WWI and WWII. I think anyone would enjoy this though this would be a great place to take children- even the small ones seemed to find things... More

Super way to learn about historical air and space acomplishments of the US and former ussr. Entry is free. You can spend the entire day and won't see everything, as there is so much to learn.

Went to the planetarium which was good. But on leaving the theatre (which we had paid good money to enter) we had orders barked at us by overzealous security and museum staff who seemed a little too eager to get us out of the building. If you want people out of the building by 7:20 - don't run shows that... More
