Came here while having a cultural day. There was lots to see and many had African influences. This is a really nice building and a nice feeling.

On approaching the building, it appears small. But exhibition area is downstairs. More latest history re SA is insightful.

Beautiful garden outside the entrance. The volunteers are passionate and informed. We got a short group tour and the volunteer had us focus on a couple pieces rather than rush through the whole museum. The layout is airy and spacious; recommend.
