We've been in Washington for 35+ years and visit the Smithsonian museums and others on the mall. We always find something new to focus on and come away enriched.

The Smithsonian Institute has multliple Museum sites available for free admission when you are in the D.C. area. I recommend all of the ones located on the Mall and some of the ones located "off campus" like the Udvar-Hazy Space Museum in Chantilly, VA. Being...More

The new Indian and space exhibits are a waste of time. The traditional Smithsonian may be showing it's age but it is better for adults than the Indian or Space components which are overrun by children and dull

I recommend that people go to the Smithsonian if they're interested in any aspect of history! Although, it is strongly suggested that everyone should go to the American History Smithsonian Museum because it had so many intriguing objects. Make sure you give yourself time though...More

Hi, when we visited we didn't see any of these 'digital interactives' to be honest, so obviously we didn't use any.
