Lovely walk as part of seeing the main memorials

Great views of the city. Water quite choppy today and no fun for a pedalow. Obviously gets quite high and splashes up at high tide. A lovely walk and seats to have a rest. Many... read more

Even in November with the leaves turning Autumnal colours it was a lovely place to walk around and view the memorials. A open spaces so even with large number's of people there was still space to... Had the luxury of visiting the tidal basin during Cherry Blossom Festival....it was beautiful. An experience you must have if you are able to visit in March/April. I always seem to miss it, as mother nature is not very kind. This year she gave me a pass and was awe struck. Plenty of sites to see as well in the... More

We walked completely around the Tidal Basin to get to the ajefferson Memorial, FDR Memorial, and MLK Memorial. It was a beautiful day, but the walk was much longer than we anticipated. We enjoyed it, but had aching feet when we got done.

This past Saturday, my wife and I walked the Tidal Basin; making stops at the Jefferson Memorial, Roosevelt Memorial and the Martin Luther King Memorial. So much to learn!

What a beautiful place to take a walk and to snap some truly amazing photographs. We enjoyed a peaceful beautiful walk along the basin. For us this was a must see and must do.

We thoroughly enjoyed our walk around the Tidal Basin, taking in the scenery, the fall color, and the three very impressive memorials.

Best time to visit is undeniably during Cherry blossom time. As blossoms begin to fade and with a gentle breeze, it's like pink confetti.... EVERYWHERE. Hope you make it soon!!

The Tidal Basin is great place to walk in Washington D.C. IT has three memorials on it. Those include Jefferson, FDR, and MLK JR.
