This is a serious bookstore. It crams a lot into a small corner off of Dupont Circle. It has collectible books and graphics as well as a deep collection of used non-fiction titles. The store has been here for decades and knows what it's doing....More

If you stay around this area it is a very neat book store. Tons of first additions and almost priceless books also has many famed pieces that have historical value.

This small shop is packed with used and rare booms, as well as CDs, DVDs, and a small selection of Blu-Ray discs. If you like reminiscing, you'll love spending time here. Second Story Books represents every genre, and the reverence it shows books is evident.

I didn’t go here, but my husband (who went twice) said that it’s the best second hand bookshop he’s ever been to (and he’s been to a lot). According to him, the main feature is that the whole shop feels curated – the books are...More
