We visited in order to see the ‘Women’ exhibition. The film documenting women who were making a difference was impressive. There is a permanent set of displays there also, but do look up what talks etc they are having. You can get there by Metro ; Feragut north on the red line.

A small but captivating exhibit

Very informative, well organized, beautifully displayed. If the topic is of interest, you will enjoy it greatly. Otherwise, not so much.

Lucky chance exhibit

The day we visited there was a wonderful exhibit of the Queens of Egypt. It was a wonderful exhibit and the grandchildren loved doing the scavenger hunt that was offered. The museum was beautifully layed out the exhibits were well defined and explained. I am so happy we went. I don't know how long this particular exhibit will be there but I would check to see what was there when you visit DC. It is a small uncrowded museum.

The show is great, it's small, it's a well-designed concept, but I expected a little more for the only museum paid in Washington.
Certainly, I recommend the museum as something unique.

good, not great

I came for the Queens of Egypt exhibit. While it was interesting to understand the role of women in ancient Egyptian society, and good to emphasize the queens that ruled, instead of just the kings, I felt it was more suited for someone without an understanding of Egyptian history. They didn't have a lot of intriguing objects (once you've seen a clay urn, you've seen them all). The 3D tour of Queen Nefertairi's tomb was unique. The most fascinating part to me was the portion on tomb worker's life. The gift store was a bit lacking - mostly a lot of branded merchandise, but perhaps that's what sells here?

I liked it a lot!

They have VR-exhibition for Jerusalem and regular exhibition for Titanic now. I was impressed by technology that they use to show you how Jerusalem looked in 3D. I won’t regret it!

I do recommend this museum to everyone. It’s a great museum and with different expositions! We had the opportunity to look at the Titanic Exhibition and also The Tomb of Christ with a 3D experience, which was absolutely amazing.

Not much to see

If your paying to see the whole museum and the current exhibits are good it's worth walking over to see this. However, I wouldn't go out of my way to see this without purchasing the full museum expierence. The current IMAX movie about juruselm is very good and this is in the same location as the IMAX theater.

Amazing Virtual Realiy tour of Church of the Sepulchre
Jun. 2018 • Friends
Just visited this museum today. We went to see the Titanic Exhibition but happened to arrive just before the next group entered the Tomb of Christ Exhibition. We totally enjoyed this interactive exhibition which included a brief historical overview of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem and a tour of this church via high tech....a 3D experience plus virtual reality....We were inside the church without really being there! It was incredible! Definitely worth a visit, especially if you have never tried virtual reality goggles! We also did enjoy the Titanic exhibition which personalized the sinking. On display were personal belongings of passengers. Also displayed were props from the Titanic movie including Rose's blue velvet dress, the necklace and other items. Definitely recommend!

Really a retrospective - and we chose to skip the 3D exhibit
May 2018 • Family
It took us all of about 20 mins to make our way through the free exhibit hall. We opted to skip the Tomb of Christ exhibit as it seemed really pricey for what it offered. The gift shop was interesting though, and gave us the chance to get well-priced gifts for kids' friends.
