We've been coming to Long Beach for many years while we were working. At that time we stayed at The Breakers, always a good experience. Now we are retired and we came to Long Beach for June, July & August in our motorhome, we stay at reasonably priced & dog friendly Cranberry RV Park. We like the Long Beach Peninsula... More

This is a small building with a lot going on. We were in town when a duo was performing. Has the feel of a house concert. Great price, beer & wine available for purchase. Tea, coffee, popcorn & cookies comp... They also do Art Shows, classes & music classes. We will try to go again when town.

We are kite builders and fliers. This was our 21st year of attending “kite week” on the Long Beach peninsula. That should be enough said about how much we like it. Over those years we have “explored” nearly all of the peninsula and there is much to see. I like to say that Long Beach is a place you go... More

We went to Long Beach for the Wash. State International Kite Festival. Its so much fun. So much color everywhere. Lots of food and craft vendors along the beach access to the different kite arenas. The ocean is beautiful there, and the beach goes on for 28 miles down the peninsula . Many things to do up and down the... More

Make Long Beach Peninsula a destination! There is a lovely paved walk along the dunes with frequent ocean views. Established trails are available for easy beach access, keeping the natural environment safe. If you've bikes, this is a perfect spot for a beautiful ride! Long Beach itself is a fun, little touristy town. Completely its opposite is Oysterville, a tiny... More

I have never seen such a show of fireworks as we had at Ocean Park. As far as the eye could see both ways were fireworks shooting into the air! Didn't know which way to look! We were fortunate enough to have a third floor room at Surfside World Mark so from the comfort of our own room we had... More

I moved here a year ago, and I love it. The beach is beautiful and the community helps to keep it clean. Nature in abundance. From the many sea birds to bear, elk, deer, sea lions, whales. Beautiful, and quiet at times but when kite festival or rod run or some other event is going on, the town is very... More

I was able to move here ten years ago and I will never leave. The Beauty, the beach, the parks, and most of all the people are truly wonderful. Our population is varied, an abundance of college graduates, post graduate degrees. Our Museums, nature trails and eateries can stand up to any medium size town. Stop in at the Visitor... More

Very good bike or walking trail that is around 5-6 miles long that goes from Long Beach to Ilwacco. Follows the beach for the most part.

I'm not really one to sit on a beach in the sun or the rain but I like surfing if it's not too big. You can drive on the beach here which is nuts but very very fun (especially if your toddler's sleeping). It might seem kinda senior citizen but my wife and I really enjoyed riding bikes on the...
