I could not find another review on trip advisor about Memorytown USA. It is a little resort that has lodging, trails, ATV riding, horses to ride at some times, chickens and rabbits to see, a cozy restaurant, a nice area for weddings and I am sure many other things that I am not aware of because there is not much... I have been wanting to go to a pumpkin chunk event ever since I realized such a thing existed. We drove to pocono raceway where the event was being held. About an hour and a half ride but not too bad. The gas and rest stop area in Allentown was a good place to stop for an auntie Anne's pretzel... More

We had attended a wedding there July 18. It was the worst event we have ever been to. There were 150 people. they made us wait over 45 minutes to go into the cocktail party. then they had one 6 foot table for the cheese and crackers for 150 guests! it was a mad house and hot as heck. They... More

Knob road on top of Pocono Mountain in PA. AAA said there was a great overlook at the end of this road. It would have been great if the small trees and tall weeds would have been cut down. You can not see more than 100 feet.

Beautiful area of the Country with lots to do and see. I was there for a CMC civilian and military combine at a ski resort. Absolute blast. There was lots of places to stay and malls nearby with lots of shopping to be done. Roads are really nice and vista views on the side roads winding into the hillsides

We had a great day at Poconos for snowtubing. The sky was blue, not too cold at all and ... NO SNOW! It was in late December 14 . We had kids with us, they had fun sliding down the tubes filled with artificial snow and that´s what it counts. My only negative comment is that the toilette were ridiculous.... More

We have driven through the Pocono Mountains on several occasions, and never been disappointed. Our last trip was to Jim Thorpe en route to a day of tubing and snow boarding. I would especially recommend taking a drive and staying overnight in the fall when the leaves are changing colors.

We booked a party of 6 people so we can have just our group but they added 4 more riders 2 of them being little kids which was not a big deal at the time but they were so slow they would not keep up with the group, we kept having to stop for them to catchup, they had problems... More

I'd seen the Poconos on a search to buy a rural property this past winter. The Poconos is in Northeastern Pennsylvania roughly bounded by I-80, I-81, and I-84 primarily in the counties of Monroe, Pike, Wayne, and Carbon. It is not too mountainous and not overtly impressive in that sense but it is a good resort area especially in the... More
