We left Port Orford on a gorgeous, crisp October morning headed to the CA Redwoods. Cape Sebastian State Park was the first stop on our journey. What a stunning drive! The dramatic ocean views were a sight to behold and something we will always remember! When we made our first stop along the scenic corridor it was still a bit... More

When we planned our road trip down Route 101, we didn't realize that we would be passing through so many scenic places. There just simply isn't enough time to stop. One place that we did stop at, and that I would reccomend is the natural bridges overlook. For miles down the Oregon coast, you're going to see open water and... More

When you happen upon this area it makes you think what the first people to this area must have thought when they saw it. This is a very scenic area and is well worth visiting. Take the time to stop and enjoy what took nature thousands of years to create.

This beach route is absolutely outstanding. We were working our way down the coast...checking out coastal cities for possibilities in which to retire and we "stumbled" into this scenic route. What a find! It was beautiful and totally relaxing. We thoroughly enjoyed it. It is well worth your time...give it a whirl, you won't regret it!

Even when it's foggy this is a gorgeous place to visit. The main entrance has 2 parking lots. Not much of a view from the upper one, but the lower area allows views up and from the coast, from Crescent City, CA to Cape Blanco (when the weather is clear). The OR Coastal trail go through here so you can... More

This part of 101 along the Oregon coast offers some great view points. Some of the pull offs have paved parking lots with restrooms and picnic tables while others are just gravel pull offs. It's amazing the number of rocks sticking out of the ocean along this corridor.

Beautiful vistas right from the parking lot trailhead. Steep and long hike along the coastal trail is you want but from the south parking you still get splendid views of north and south. Just a short drive south of Gold Beach on 101.

Stopped off at the Cape but the problem was the fog was down. We did manage to see some of the rocks with holes through them which was cool. Shame about the fog but worth a visit.

We stopped at the park not really knowing how long the trail. I am glad that we stopped shortly after the peak as it quite steep and long way to the beach. Regardless of the length and difficult beach access we enjoyed the first mile of this trail - great views, cool trees and ocean on both sides - highly... More

We hiked the trail down to the beach and back. It was beautiful and it's a great trail with lots of interesting terrain, flora & fauna. I could hear the hummingbirds, saw a couple snakes, a woodpecker & was told there was a group of whales off the coast. One of my favorite hikes & would love to explore this... More
