Just driving the road into Cave Lake State Park was a geologist's dream. The lake was cold but beautiful. Wish we'd had more time to explore.

The camp spots were nice and the best bathrooms ever. As for the fishing, we didn't do too bad. It wasn't very fun in regards to doing anything else with 2 kids under 5. It's was beautiful though. Just a long drive from Vegas.

Nice place to get away to for a while. Did some fishing. Busy spot on holidays. I would recomend this place for anyone who loves the outdoors but not far off the beaten path.

Another one of Nevada's hidden treasures. About 4 hours away from Las Vegas, lots of gas stations on the way. The park itself is very well kept, lots of wildlife and camp grounds. The weather there was a cool 65 degrees so a nice change...More
