Being from the east coast, this river looks very clean. It looks crystal clean, you can drive up and park to get into it or let your dog swim in it in Laughlin NV & Needles CA.

Unlike many of the States in the Midwest and east coast we don't have many boating options. The Colorado river provides the perfect boating and family destination. The emerald green water is the perfect temperature all summer long. Boat launching is available from many public...More

We have visited the Colorado River in Arizona and Nevada. After running through the Grand Canyon, the Colorado reaches Hoover Dam and turns south creating the state line between Arizona and Nevada. There is so much to do in this amazing waterway- whitewater rafting, tubing,...More

If you go in the summer, Laughlin is hot. The river tends to cool things down a little. You can take a water taxi to the different hotels and casinos for a small fee. You can also rent jet skis on the river. It is...More

It was a cool view, I went on a rafting trip through 12 miles of the Colorado River. It had lots of Goats and sheep, and good views and multiple shores. Surprisingly, parking is very easy to get to.

This section of the Colorado River between Lake Mohave (Davis Dam) and Lake Havasu has something for everyone. I personally have walked the river walk, serene and relaxing. I kayak upriver and down river for exercise weekly. This is some of the clearest waters you...More

Flowing serenely between Laughlin and Bullhead City, the Colorado doesn't look like the force that carved the Grand Canyon. Davis Dam keeps it all under control. The river walk in Laughlin is very relaxing and catching the sunrise over the river is inspiring.
