National Parks I just love visiting them. Especially when you enjoy the history of our United States. My BFF, youngest daughter, and I do the NPS Passport program and this is one of the sites. Lots to see and learn.

We reserved a spot online, which was very easy and convenient. The spots are pretty standard for what you find at National or State Parks in Missouri - Fire Pit, Picnic table, pole to hang lantern (or considering the raccoons, trash bag) and a level...More

I have been here many times before, usually during off-season when the canoeists are scarce. The stunning springs, the multi-hued transparent water, the watercress, the cliffs, the songbirds, etc. keep calling me back here. Explore as much of the National Park as you wish. There...More

We only needed to visit this Park to complete all the Parks in Missouri. We were also interested in getting our Park stamps. Our first stop at Round Springs - the visitor's center was closed but we had a picnic lunch and took a walk...More

We weren't sure what to expect with this park, but we were beyond impressed with all the different offerings. Big Spring, Blue Spring, and Round Spring were all amazing. We'll make a point to return someday.

The park and camp sites along the Current River are beautiful. A great river to canoe and watch the amazing wildlife. I would put this place on a must see list and stay a while.

Beautiful National and great motorcycle roads in the area! Stop by the visitor center in Van Buren and check out some of the prettiest scenery in Missouri.

Assuming the river is not up too high, Akers Ferry to Pulltite is nice. Below Pulltite to Round Springs is nice too. Any of the campgrounds that are part of the Ozark Scenic Riverway should be nice - again, if they are not... More

Missouri is your kind of place. Missouri has a lot of karst topography. This yields plentiful caves and springs. I recommend the town of Eminence as your home base. It is the hub of the Ozark National Scenic Riverways... More
