We've traveled to the North Shore 5 - 10 times a year for more than 20 years. This is a great stop as they've constructed the nicest State Park building for visitors. The falls are a gradual hike. Dragonflies populate the area at the base...More

We were at the state park for 3 days. We had site #30. The 27 foot camper was on level ground but the truck was not. It kind of made it weird to back in the camper since it was up hill. The high falls...More

This electric site sits on a slight incline. When it rains, the water runs right through the campsite in front of where the door on your camper would be positioned. This site is sadly lacking in gravel and the site turn into a mud puddle....More

Nice visitor's center with helpful employees. Ample parking available. Free. Trail to Cascade Falls had a couple slippery rough areas due to recent rain. Hiking boots and hiking stick needed. Distance is less than a mile.

No, it is not easy. If you go in, planning to stay in until your stay is over might be best for young children. If they are old enough to hike a bit that will help, but carrying them may be hard up and down the hills.
