This river that separates Minnesota from Wisconsin is stunning. I would recommend renting a boat and taking a tour. Be sure to stop in the small river town of Stillwater for fabulous boutique shopping, great history, and delicious restaurants.

The glacial potholes are big and deep. I had not seen glacial potholes before. The river was flowing briskly, but the water was very brown in color.

I enjoyed this river travelling on one of the riverboat ferries. You can get group rates that provide dinner and drinks. A great idea for an office outing or wedding party.

We enjoy kayaking and canoeing the St. Croix River. It's fun to stop at the restaurant on the west bank about 4 hours paddle south from the State Park!

Traveling down this river is an experience you will never forget. One of the favorite pictures in my office is my wife and I on a small island during one of our canoe trips. You can put in as far north as you want. Near...More

The most beautiful river in the area. Historic Stillwater as a backdrop and the bluffs around the river are a sight to behold. The old lift bridge is loved by some and hated by others that rely on it to get where they need to...More
