Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Rafting on this fork of the American River from just about any company is going to be a day of fun and adventure. The highlight? Tunnel Chute rapids, where the gold miners actually blasted the tunnel to divert the river.

I have run the middle fork several times in the past. I went this year with "WET" the company has great guides, try to get on with DAX he is a real class act. Will teach you about rafting and keep you safe but also is really knowlegable about the local history, going back to the gold rush, the local wildlife of the river and other rivers in US.
The river geography has changed after the rains last winter and it pretty crazy up at the tunnel chute which may teach you a lesson you are not ready for.
Overall, a real fulfilling day.
