Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Most corporate sites in Silicon Valley are not worth visiting. There is a logo on a building and that is it. However, Google is an open campus - so you can wonder around a bit AND the main HQ building is open to visitors. Their first server, a Google car, and a replica of SpaceShip 2 are in there.

The building is just a short walk from the Computer Museum - which is definitely worth visiting - making Google a quick side trip.

Drove around to Facebook and Google. There is not anything to really do. There's a sign outside Facebook that you can take photos with and then at Google there's a shop and you can walk around the campus. We got told to not use the Google bikes as they are for employees only, which was a bit of a shame as we were only trying them out! Not worth going out of your way for.

I never expected all the fun I had on the valley. Knowing iconic tech places like Apple HQ, Google Campus, the actual garages of Hewlett & Packard and Job´s and Woz´s was amazing, as visiting the Computer Museum (where you can see real pieces of history as the Enigma machine and an Apple 1). The free tour of Princeton University is a must for youngsters of senior high school and older. The place is rather upscale, very neat and with a perfect climate.

This is not a good place for people who don't like technology, but if you are a person who has even a minor interest in the worlds biggest tech firms, this is a MUST SEE place, as you get to go into the headquarters of companies such as Facebook, Google and Apple are a few to be listed. The most interesting place was the Facebook headquarters as it was engineered to look like a street but most of the items in the shops were free for both visitors and employees, the best thing though was the artificial forest on the roof of the main building. Google was also very nice as it had a whole wing only for recreational activities for their artisans and it was very comfortable for a place for people to work in. Apple was good but it disappointed me as i thought it would have been way better, it didn't live up to my expectations, hope the new one lives up to them

Google complex is open to everybody. Anyone can use the google colored bicycles to bike around the complex. Parking is not a problem.

In Facebook, it's quite different. Waze guided us to what we thought was the Facebook headquarters but at the parking we were told by the guards that it is a private property. Instead, we were directed to 1 Hacker Way. There's no public restrooms in this place.

Any visitor here with expectation of grandiose building or icon will be disappointed until Apple new doughnut headquarters is ready. Even I have doubt they will open their premises to the public for security purposes

The Silicon Valley extends to many suburbs and areas including Palo Alto (Facebook/Google), Cupertino ( Apple) Etc, nothing impressive a lug these places except where history was made.

Even the Google Scrulptures Park look childish. All I can think is they don t need the tourist dollars or stores on site except to satisfy some geeks whom wants to pay homage to their holy Sites by buying a few expensive trinkets like mugs and t shirts /clothes with say Google logo.

Unless you are a Techno geek and have friends and relatives working in these iconic corporations and can visit the inner temple, you r better spending your time in San Jose, capital of Silicon Valley with more interesting sites like History Park, San Padro Square etc or simply stay in San Fran n have a good meal or cruise !

To each their own and I have no wish to spoil the fun and excitement of those who idolise these TOP corporations and must need to have 'been there and done it'

Officially nothing you can really do as a tourist but regardless this is a must for any tech fans. Drive down Infinity Loop and drop into Apple, awe at the vast expanse of the Googleplex (and Google bikes) and get a photo with the Facebook sign on Hacker Way.

Best done by car, drive down the 101 and check out some of the most influential companies on the Plannet in this wonderful suburb

We were surprised of how accessible their campus was. We enjoyed seeing the employees riding the google bikes and playing in the open areas. very welcoming environment.

The shining and dreamy name doesn't give you what you may have expected.....We went to the headquarters of Google and Apple and didn't come across much surprises. Anyway it's the working place of many people, not an attraction, so no blame on them. The cute bicycles on Google's campus were the highlight. The one-and-only Apple souvenir shop (which was right outside the entrance to the Apple HQ building) was disappointing.

We decided to make a tour on our own during Saturday, so without entering an particular site or museum. We just drove around, stopping and taking photos wherever we wanted and we were very happy at the end. Think what you really want to see and make a good plan to use your time in the most efficient way.
