Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Waiheke Community Art Gallery punches well above its weight with several new exhibitions every three weeks, always of a high standard, varied artistic techniques and well curated. Highly recommended for half an hour or more of your time in Waiheke.

I used to drop in to the Waiheke Community Art Gallery from time to time when visiting the island. Now that we have a bach on the island I drop in more regularly. Wow have I noticed a difference in recent times - there is always something exciting and interesting going on with high quality art across all mediums. In fact I enjoyed myself so much there that I signed up and became a member! Well done to all those who put in so much effort to creating an art space worthy of national recognition.

Free of charge (as it should be since they are trying to sell the exhibited items). Located slightly away from the main street behind the library and cinema. Definitely worth a visit if you are exploring Oneroa. From there it is just across the street to the bus stop to take one back to the ferry to Auckland (every 30 minutes).

This is a superb community gallery where exhibitions are changed regularly. There is a wide range of art to both see and buy. The art ranges from being very commercial and accessible to exciting and occasionally challenging!

The shop has a wonderful range of art, homeware and gifts. I bought a series of children's books and several gifts including a wedding present. I particularly liked the ceramics and cheese boards made out of old wine barrels.

Nice gallery with work from NZ artists, with a shop. Free to visit. You can get there from the passenger ferry terminal on the city bus with an AT HOP card. It's in a town with lots of shops and eateries.
