Rob and Brent are superb and accommodating hosts as well as very skilled and experienced divers. I couldn't recommend a better outfit for experiencing the Marlborough Sounds, The 'Lerm' Wreck and an all time great experience, see you again soon!

After I dived three days at the wreck of the Lermontov at the end of 2015, I realized that I wanted to do my further diving training here. So I had the privilege to return to Picton a year later on as a divemaster trainee. The training program has been quite challenging - also because of the rather short duration... More

It had been 2 years since my last dive in the warm water's of Thailand and so I was eager to get back into the water. However, I found myself in New Zealand's South Island which, of course, is not known for it's temperate water!! I popped in to the GoDive shop and was greeted by a very friendly French... More

My party and I showed up to the dive shop half an hour early, filled out our paperwork, and waited patiently for the dive master to arrive from his earlier trip (he was substantially late). With a little more than a hello he finally managed to get us all geared up and ready to go down to the water. He... More

The Mikhail Lermontov is an excellent wreck and I thoroughly enjoyed my 4 night stay at the Lermontov Lodge. Brent is an experienced operator and knows the wreck like the back of his hand. There is plenty to see for the novice but for the experienced cold(ish) water diver the possibilities are endless and Brent will facilitate as well as... More

I was introduced to Go Dive by my good friend and fellow DMT buddy, Rob, who is now an instructor at the shop. We were anxious to get in the water and have some laughs again! The entire team was very helpful to us from scheduling to gear fitting and personalization, safe boat transfers to and from the dive sites,... More

From booking a very reasonably priced trip, the trip out along picturesque coast road to the cleanliness of the dive lodge, the expert briefing and Brent's intimate knowledge of the Lermentov, the food, general ambience and helpfulness of the operation. Cannot be faulted, what a great experience, the only thing I'd change is make NZ closer! :-)

Diving the MV Mikhail Lermontov with go dive Marlborough was absolutely fantastic. Brent is a wonderful host as well as being a skilled and experienced skipper & diver. Very knowledge about the wreck and the area in general he gave us clear, through briefings on what to expect and clearly had the safety of his guests as well as enjoyment... More

I spent three days at Lermontov Lodge diving the MV Mikhail Lermontov. Brent and Rob went out of their way to make the trip a success. The wreck is a great dive, at accessible depth (12-37m), and I hope to return in the future to dive more of it, as 3 days barely scratched the surface! Thanks.

I discovered Go dive as part of my Advanced Open water course-thankfully! Diving with Brent at Go dive is a great experience not only for the down to earth kiwi hospitality that Go dive provides but also for the world class coaching and expertise that Brent has to offer a diver at any level. Add to that a world class... More
