Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The Roundhouse is on the beach, near the centre of Fremantle. It is one of the oldest structues still standing in Western Australia (WA). Bathers Beach is behind the Rounghouse. It is a pleasant beach, good for paddling. The water is rarely rough. It is close to the centre of Fermantle, WA's port city..

During the day: A nice beach, clean but surrounded by industrial buildings.
During sunset: Reserve a beach lounger, come here an hour before sunset, order a lovely meal and enjoy the view. It's amazing!

Short stroll and visit after lunch at Cicerellos. Surprisingly, other than my wife and I enjoying the view, nary another person in sight. Not even a stray dog exercising. Perhaps the multitude of squabbling gulls were a deterrent.

This beach gets a lot of visitors mainly because of its location close to the popular fishing wharf. But it can be quite pretty, especially around sunset. The water is not the most clean looking, and I'm not sure I'd choose it for swimming - South Beach is only about 5km away and much prettier for that. But it's a good spot to enjoy some fish and chips or some of the many food options in the area.

This is a quaint beach on the Fremantle waterfront. It is generally a safe place for swimming and sunbathing, and would appeal to young families. There are nice lawns surrounding the beach. Conveniently, a bar and casual cafe is close by.

Love this beach because it sits right in front of my home. Go there everyday during the summer and on other times when its nice and sunny. In the middle of a city near pubs, restaurants, markets. Plenty to do for kids and adults. Very small waves and protected from surges. Great family and backpacker beach

This is lovely little beach. There is lots of restaurants and bars very close by. I had my evening meal in Ostro Italian. There is public places to shower and change etc. All seems very chilled area. I had a lovely few hours on the beach and swimming in the sea.

Bathers Beach In Fremantle is located just behind the Roundhouse. The beach is only small with some deck chairs provided. Restaurants are scattered along the boardwalk which makes heading down to the beach enjoyable although the beach itself is ordinary it’s handy for a swim.

Great place to hang out, advice go early before sunset to get a good location to watch sunset and after - the sun and it’s spectacular sunset colors will charmed you. The seagulls will add to the colors of the sunset - they will

Lovely sheltered beach - can visit with just a stroll over looking or actually go for a swim. There are heaps of attractions to see in this area. Don't forget to visit the bar on the beach
