Join us from Fremantle and Rottnest Island as we take you to on one of our public Snorkel / Eco tours, Twilight Sails, or the ultimate adventure - a Private Charter for up to 38. Our signature vessel 'Capella', a local icon, is a luxury sailing catamaran suitable for young and old, both small and large groups. She's the ray of sunshine that's been lighting up the waters of Perth, Rottnest Island and Carnac Island for over 15 years. After all, you cannot miss her! Charter 1 is an Accredited Tourism Business (Australia) and Advanced Eco Certified.

I appreciated the clear communication right from the booking. We had to
be put on another day to originally booked and Jules was very accommodating. Lovely snorkel catering for all levels and made everyone feel included and safe. Highly recommend!! thanks crew and Jules we loved it!!

Great experience. Awesome snorkeling. Also provided ideas on other places to snorkel around Rotto which were fabulous.

We scored a perfect evening for it, although the Skipper said he would have preferred a little bit more breeze... The crew were very cheerful and the boat was perfect, we also enjoyed a little bit of sightseeing around Fishing Boat Harbour before disembarking

What a wonderful evening trip. Perfect weather, friendly crew, great music choice, wonderful relaxed vibe, what a way to finish my working week. My partner and I were given this trip as a Christmas present, and what a great gift it was. Would happily do this trip again.

I already joined charter 1 twice on two different tours and the only thing I can say is: I absolutely loved it!! The crew was amazing and happy to answer every question.
The first tour I did was the “Rottnest Island Snorkel & Sail” tour and it was amazing. It was a guided snorkelling tour, which made me feel really safe.
The second tour was the Carnac Island tour which is probably my favourite. In the end the sea lions joined us in the water. But before that we went to the west side of the island to snorkel which is not typical. The wind was too strong so they changed the plan to make it as comfortable for the guest as possible and it turned out absolutely fantastic.
I can definitely recommend both tours to everyone who’s looking for a fun and relaxing day on the water. Thank you for these amazing day’s🤩

Firstly, thank-you for coming out with us - twice! And thank-you for taking time to provide your feedback. We're pleased you enjoy both tours and were made to feel safe and looked out for. The western side of Carnac is a true delight if you can be lucky enough to visit, when the winds are being 'atypical'. How lucky we are to live with such beautiful islands nearby! :)

I was really excited for this tour but found it a little disappointing.
The equipment advertised wasn't pulled out, until a couple of people asked after the kayak only for it to be packed up when everyone got back from the snorkel.
The snorkel gear was simply not adequate for this type of tour operator. Not enough flippers in common sizes and many of the snorkels were broken.
Overall, if you just want a nice sailing trip I would recommend this tour. However, if you are keen on snorkelling, you will have a smoother experience hiring snorkel gear for $20 from the ferrry / pedal and flipper and going yourself from the bays.

Thanks for your feedback. We are sorry to hear you felt a little disappointed. Balancing the right supply of equipment across a wide range of sizes for up to 24 people can be quite a challenge, particularly during peak times and when repeat breakages occur. We are currently awaiting an order of new stock to hopefully alleviate this issue ASAP.

Fabulous experience watching sunset in the west, we sailed outside of the harbour after checking out the expensive boats in marina , great fun crew, sparkling wine and cheese board . Other visitors were friendly and easy to talk to overall highlight of our visit to Freo!
