Thank you Adam for the unbelievable Photography Trip that you organised with Paul Hoelen to the pristine areas on the West Coast of Tasmania... It was an experience that was way better than I was expecting. I appreciated the personal attention in making sure that I got the best possible photographs.... I was taken to the perfect locations, at the perfect time of day, and was given individual guidance on how to capture the best shot..
You were never rushed with your time in ensuring that I got what I wanted...
One month on from the trip, and I am still drifting off to some of those remote locations. Simply Stunning !!
Your trip was the best Photographic Trip I have been on by far..
Will definitely be on another of your fabulous trips....

The Tasmanian Photo Tour 2018 with Adam Monk will always be remembered in the best possible way.
Adam is a great tour guide and this trip suited both beginners and pros. He is a great teacher and guided us on camera settings, composition and post processing. We were taken to remote and some hard to find places in the North West of Tasmania - absolute breathtaking vistas and magical hidden forests for landscape/nature photography.
Accommodation in these remote areas was fantastic - comfortable, warm, clean and we had hot showers every night. Some nights it was even 4 stars. In one area where there were no stores or restaurants Adam had brought in a private chef to look after us.
Adam is a true professional, very respectful of the environment and a pleasure to travel with – I will definitely be going on another of his tours – he is highly recommended.

This was my first experience of a photographic tour and I have to say it was an extremely positive experience. Adam provided a very positive and well organised atmosphere for photography and was very generous with his advice and knowledge in all things photographic. Adam and fellow photographer, Paul Hoelen, provided us with many photographic opportunities and their enthusiasm was infectious and a pleasure to be around. I am very glad to have been on that tour to Tasmania.

Most of the pictures on display were just stunning !
I know they say, "beauty is in the eye of the beholder", but I would defy anyone to walk out of here and be unimpressed.

Adam judged both digital (projected) and print images for Melville Photography Club at last night's exhibition and did an excellent job. There are few judges with Adam's extensive range of expertise from capture to printing. We are happy to recommend him to others seeking an engaging and informative judge of art photography. We really enjoyed having a look around the Monk Art Gallery. Most of his pictures are of northern WA which didn't make them as relevant to us because we spent our time in the south but they were lovely to look at nonetheless and they are quite good value to.

This was what we heard from a fellow photographer all the time, when we were on the tour led by Adam and Kerry in east Greenland, on board the lovely Donna Wood,
over a week in August 2016. In the end, we all fell in love with Greenland fiords and its people, and the old rusty but well equiped and charismatic timber boat.
The trip I was on, Greenland followed by Iceland, was essentially two tours, and, each deserves a 5 star review on its own. Though one tour on the sea with trips to shore to explore, the other on the dry land passing though numerous waterfalls, they joined together seamlessly. So it is natural to remember them as one trip. We were privileged to be able to see and to be in the middle of some out-of-this-world places. Looking at my very own photos taken on the tours, I still get goose bumps to think that I was right there in the middle of the parades of icebergs, or, the magic northern lights just danced above my head. It was not just a holiday, it was a true adventure, whether you are a boatie, yachtie, foodie, hiker, explorer, or, spectator.
Adam ran the tours effortlessly and he looked after everyone in our groups. Regardless the tight schedule, we were out shooting almost every waking moment. When we were scattered around a particular location, he would walk around tirelessly and give assistance without hesitation. At meals, Adam was the last one to sit down until everyone had got a seat.
A massive thank-you to Adam for a trip of lifetime!

Visited Bhutan at the end of 2016 with Adam. My sister and myself had been looking for a great photography tour to do together and decided on this amazing destination. We were not disappointed. Bhutan is just stunning no matter the time of year you travel there. Adam's tour was well organised and we had such a fantastic small group of like minded snappers of varying levels of experience. The local tour company that Adam works with was terrific and the guides and drivers assigned with our tour were just awesome and they have worked with Adam on many occasions. The combination of excellent customer service from our local guides and drivers with the knowledge and experience of Adam provided a very memorable trip, one I will never forget. Thanks to all involved. Anne
