Being a boat lover had to have a look. The place is steeped in history of the early visitors - founders of Fremantle. Must for anyone interested in nautical history to visit.

Mr K & I visited this place after we did a photo shoot down at Bathers Beach one day and we had a lot of fun! We were privileged enough to be shown around by the awesome guide there, Kristian, who we love dearly.

Have been there twice. Love it. There is a lot of really interesting history based around the first European visitors to Australia...there are lots of 'treasures' from the many shipwrecks on the west coast.....it makes you want to go away and learn more....

There are fragments of some actual ships that were wrecked in these waters, with the stories about the ship wrecks.

This is the 2nd visit to the place. There are some new exhibits since 2015. Still free entry but a $5 donation would be nice. Since its the school holidays, plenty of kids busying themselves with activities. Love the latest stories about the Batavia shipwreck...More

By visiting this place you like to touch the history with your hands. Amazing feelings. A lot of stuff to see and to think about. Definitely worth to visit.

A great museum for adults and children and very cheap admittance with a $5.00 donation recommended. It was certainly worth this. Lots of shipwreck history and great exhibits. It is also very close The Round House and restaurants.
