Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A congregation of the Scots Church was established in Fremantle in 1885 with services in various locations until it was decided to build a church. The site was procured in 1889 and construction commenced in 1890 with Sir John Forrest laying the foundation stone on 26th March. Eight months later the church was officially opened The church is constructed from limestone with red-brick quoins on the buttresses and window edges. The roof is constructed of steep pitched timber, this was originally shingled but is now tiled. The main facade comprises the tower and spire, porch and triple lancet windows of stained glass. The building style is classed as rustic gothic. It is an impressive building but was closed on the day we visited.

The Scots Presbyterian Church is hard to miss if you're taking a wonder down the main drag or cappucino strip in downtown Fremantle. There are a lot of historic buildings in the area, but this is definitely one of the prettier and more interesting ones.

It is built of limestone and red brick and is quite attractive. The church dates back to 1890 and was the first Presbyterian Church in Fremantle and one that declined amalgamation with the Uniting Church. One of many interesting old buildings in the town.

Located next to Fremanlte Markets. Lovely old building worth a check if you're in the area. Kept well. Grand pulpit in the centre of the altar area. Opposite the Fremantle footy oval and not far from the old prison.

Fremantle has a lot of interesting buildings, but this one interested me because of the brickwork, and the mortar colour

This is one of the older presbyterian churches and one that did not merge with the Methodits to form the Uniting Church. It was built in 1890 and is a State registered Place. Like the Wesleyan Church it was not open though

I was attracted by the color of this church. Its steeple stood high and the bricks had a nice tone of light brown stones.
There were two white doors to enter, one on the left, the other on the right!
There were many stained-glass windows.
I was impressed.
Worthwhile to see!
