It was a very nice experience. I guess a British guy who was very friendly shows you the highlights from Tavira and so you get a little guided tour. The price was totally ok! I would recommend this visit :)

The resourceful, enterprising creator of Tavira's Camera Lucida brought a historic piece of scientific equipment to an old water tower (both of which were going to be scrapped) to create a marvelous display of Tavira. The cool darkness of the display room offers a blessed...More

Fascinating and really enjoyable visit. The guide was multilingual and very funny. Well worth taking the time to take such a different view of Tavira.

Recently visited with young children. Apart from very friendly & helpful girl who greeted us, the rest of staff were extremely unhelpful & cross!! The guide was very unwelcoming to our kids & seemed more obsessed with showing off his language skills than actually entertaining...More

Not usually one for visiting ‘paid for attractions’ but found the camera obscura fascinating. It’s real time action. The hostess was very well prepared, charming and gave a factual but fun presentation - and it’s lovely and cool up there! We’d recommend this as a...More
