Perfect example of how human activity like diverting water can totally destroy a once beautiful place. Not only there is no water, but there's litter all over, stinking terribly. Can't get what for keeping all the beautiful pics here on TA if that's no longer the case.

This was a beautiful place three years ago, but suddenly the river stopped running! This was always a possibility in the summer but not in March after a lot of rain. The water has been diverted somewhere upstream but the council have done nothing. In the meantime, all the infrastructure is being destroyed by nature and v andals

Went today and the water doesnt flow. Its a bit like a refuse tip with a pool of water as its main feature. Very hard to find. Which actually made it quite fun to go. The other review about directions is perfect depending on what direction you come in from. We happened to come the right way.

We went there yesterday to check this place out, but much to our disappointment it was no longer there. The river and waterfall were all dried up. So don't waste you time like we did! Wish I had of checked trip advisor before going as other travellers had already noted this. We weren't the only ones who had made this... More

After a fairly long drive we arrived at what we hoped was the waterfall (no signage) but, as we didn't know it was now closed, we followed some voices until we found what was once the waterfall but is now just a pool of greenish scummy water. Some brave people were swimming but it didn't look healthy or appealing! Shame... More

There was a fire here a couple of years ago and since then the place has been completely neglected. It's not easy to find as there are no indications and wild vegetation and garbage abound. Don't expect to see any waterfall this summer because it has dried out. Consequently, the pool of water below the waterfall is now stagnant and... More

Definitely worth the visit. Fter reading some disappointing reviews on here we weren't going to chance it! Luckily for us we came across some locals who were happy to show us the way! I doubt we would have found it by ourselves!! A fire has ruined all walk ways and bridges which gave better access to the pool and waterfall.... More
