We visited here as part of a joint tour. The salt mine was ok, but don't expect splendid, natural formations. Everything is man made. Interesting but not spectacular.

Went here to keep us out of the bars. It is an impressive place however once you have seen one salt chamber you have seen them all. Having said that it's worth a visit. The tour guides are very good and are very enthusiastic about the mine. There is a lot of walking and you go down about 850 steps,... More

Be prepared for a very long walk down 800 steps at the beginning of the tour! The guided tour was fantastic, very interesting and beautiful place to see. One of the top recommendations I'd say. Very easy to get to by train, we left from the old town ( at the Gallaria) train ticket is 4 zloty each way so... More

I'm sure this would be fascinating for some people but for me, it was a waste of money. WWe had a very funny tour guide in that he would begin telling people about parts of the mines before we had all caught up so you'd quite often miss the beginning of the talks and therefore we didn't really know what... You can possible imagine what is underground. Prepare your legs to the stairs, but only to go down, to return to the surfice you will use the elevador. The guide who toke us was very funny. I tottaly recomend this trip.

We took the early trip to see this attraction and despite not being a fan of early starts we were very glad we did. When we left the mine several hours later there were queues everywhere. I don't actually want to tell you what to expect when you go here as it's better to be surprised as I was. All... More

This was a really good trip although not as long as we were expecting. Our guide Margaret was really good and had loads of knowledge about the history of the mines. The only problem with the tour is that you don't get long enough to take pictures etc. It was a bit rushed.

We took the normal travelers route. We had an English speaking guide who was very good and friendly. We moved swiftly throughout and the tour lasted 2 hours in total. The tour was described as 3 hours before but we felt that two was plenty and we were happy enough to leave in the end. The salt sculptures and the... More

Impresive, they offer guided tours in many languages, we took Spanish, he was really nice guy, he gave a lot of information, and made our visit quite enjoyable. We bought the tickets there, no need to make a reservation, just 1 minute before the visit started. I really enjoyed to walk through the tunnels, and of course the elevator to... More
