The many cellars in Tabor around the square have been linked by tunnels. As you go round you see displays of what life was like here. The tour was in Czech, however. An English language handout helped a bit but obviously we missed out on a lot of information (despite the very helpful guide giving a few sentences in English... More

Was supposed to be good but half of the group could not understand what the guide was saying because she spoke Czech. Not very good.

This attraction is really worth a visit, a short walk underneath the main square, showing how people lived/hid there, very impressive.

Tabor is a Walled city that has alot of history. The tunnels beneath the square are fantastic, I was able to take a tour that which covered the square with entrances to the building above. We also dined in the catacombs from a restaurant above

There were only the two of us and our guide gave us a reasonable explanation of the tunnels in English. It was good to hear about how the tunnels had been used and their history. The tour is pretty short, and there isn't a lot to see, but it is still cool to see another side of the town. Thinking... More

We were the only two waiting for the 4pm 'tour' of the tunnels. We had read the English pamphlet about it beforehand. It was more just a guide as aposed to a tour. We wandered through. Stopped at two points noted in the pamphlet and took a few pics. Probably underground maybe 15-20mins? Wasn't expensive. But cool to see.

A short trip underground with a guide to explain the history of the underground tunnels of Tabor. There are explanation cards at the entrance in all major languages. With interesting points and the history explained. Should take around 30 to 45 minutes.

Tour guide did not speak any foreign language, only Czech so difficult to understand what she was explaining during the tour. The floor was very slippery even in rubber shoes

The city above is far more interesting, there is almost nothing to see there, only empty underground tunels with a poor presentation.

We entered with a family of five on a very warm summer's day. An excellent place to cool down. The guide asked us to stay with her, so she could give us explanations in English. It is a nice experience, the kids found it very exciting. Can be a bit slippery.
