Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We loved the hill of angels! It was fun to explore. We were the only ones at the time of our visit. There are numerous wooden angels, many have signs in English that explain them. We came across Angelu Kalva by accident, it is worth going to. Try to read a little about the history before you go.

The Hill of Angels is probably the most interesting site in Trakai, more so than the castle imho, for insight into contemporary Lithuanian culture. You have to go with a native speaker, and someone familiar with the icons that are intended by these totems. An unguided visit would not be very worthwhile...

Nice sculptures, wonderful veiws and a very peaceful setting. Not faraway from Trakai, but it does appear to be visited by large numbers of people - I think that is the attraction of this place.

Just a few minutes by car from Trakai castle and its tour groups, we came to this meadow covered in (modern) carved crosses. We were the only people there, and here is a sense of peace and remoteness, even though it is close to civilization. Everything is in good taste, and there are paths and benches to sit down and admire the view. It's not a real hill, but it is a bit windswept.

The Hill of Angels is a very recent development, oak wood sculptures of angels are dedicated to hope, kindness and faith. Each sculpture got a bilingual plate with a short explanation or dedication. Good for a short visit if you are passing by car. But what really makes that side of the lake remarkable is the Uzutrakis manor estate and surrounding park. The manor is nicely restored and now houses a little museum open during summer. The manor is of the start of XIX c. Beautifully planned park opens with splendid views towards the Trakai castle.

It was unexpected to find this hill of angels especially at night time with full moon. The place is calm, quite, surprising.

If you are tired of noise in Trakai you can take a relaxing walk in Angelų kalva (Angels' hill) nearby. It is not very amazing, there are not lot of to do or even picnic tables to sit down and take your snacks, but 30-45 minutes for walking here is good choice when you saw everything you wanted in Trakai.
It could be better if someone take more care of grass trimming.
