There are lots of hiking trails in Sigulda. This Serpentine road in part of them. Great sights all around

It's really nothing that spectacular. Just a long and winding road that takes you up to see so old ruins. Some nice trees though.

The forest around is scenic, but from my point of view 1km hike up the hill is worth only if you plan on taking a cable car. We were unlucky and by reaching the cable car place found out that the thing is out of...More

A very sightful and good place for running trainings. Good quality if road. New and interesting. Good for bikes as well.

It's a winding bike path, with people whizzing down it at great speed. There are prettier - and safer - routes back to Sigulda if you're on foot.

We had a great day walking the serpentine trail up and down so many stairs and trails. Stunningly pretty views good tracks well maintained. Really enjoyed using it to get round the sites in the Gauja National Park near Sigulda.

You go, either up or down (we did both), among the most beautiful trees in the forest. The scents of grass, pines and linden-trees surround you, and the beautiful views complete the experience.
