Raganu katls (Witches' pot) is impressive sand-rock formation on the Dauda river left bank. From that place you can go further to Klaukas hill and down to the Gauja river.

I definitely suggest visiting Raganu katls! It is a really astonishing natural formation, especially in winter and late autumn/early spring when tree leaves does not obscure the view. Free entrance and free parking.

Yes, after Paradizes or Gleznotaj hill or mountain (which offers the best view or no.1 view in Sigulda), Raganu Katls (Witch Pot) offers no.2 view. Enjoy.

Basically it is a huge hole in a middle of forest, which makes it worth a visit. Also the best view on it would be in autumn (during the "golden autumn" at the beginning of October).

Go on foot. The view is really astonishing. As this is Sigulda, it is better to go in autumn. Place's translation literally means Witch's Cauldron.
