We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The Saeima is a unicameral parliament consisting of 100 members who are elected in elections scheduled to be held once every four years. The most recent elections were held in October 2018. The President of Latvia can dismiss the Saeima and request early elections.

The House of the Livonian Noble Corporation is the home to the Saeima. It is a neo-Renaissance building constructed in 1867. It is located in UNESCO-listed Old Town Riga, directly opposite St. James's Cathedral.

The parliament building is not open to the public but it is nonetheless an imposing building worthy of view from the outside. Not only is it the parliament building, it is also home to public services and the highest court in Latvia.

The building is quite grand with interesting facades. Located opposite the Russian orthodox cathedral.

You would think the Latvian Parliament would reside in a posher and more impressive building, but it is located here, in this somehow unassuming building.

Good afternoon, I’m Russian from Riga. I’m very impressed by the last people in our country, I’m a non-citizen, I don’t belong to the Party, I’ve been walking boldly through life all my life, I’m not indolent, but such people are just sick and they need to be treated, I’m very sorry for the premise, Kostya Sikerzhisky, and other special people, are members of the Parties, greedy, poor, hungry, poor in spirit people who themselves need help, and in general, what do they do to me when I am the Officers’ child and granddaughter, all in Russia. Maybe they are for some reason benefits, but in people there is disrespect, not persons, not Education, what are these people doing in power and around my friends, children and families, excuse me, you can either go to the Madhouse with them, or go to jail, and they laugh at me, and their opinion should accept, so they are Russian somewhere else, I’m mute here and there, Some kind of shame and disgrace, With respect, and love of course, but it’s a shame what is happening in Our Sweet little country. Yulia Chekhlova. November 22. They don’t follow, there’s no need, there’s nothing Just don’t laugh at them for being 40.36 years old.....where is the world heading..

We had a very interesting guides tour (in English) app. 1 hour with Anna who was very good in telling about the parliament and the political system.
We enjoyed every minute.

The building is not very impressive but well worth a stop to ponder its history having housed the Nobility, the Nazis, the Soviets and now the democratically elected.Parliament.

On our walking tour, this interesting building was pointed out - The Latvian Parliament Building which also houses the Courts. The front of the building was extended outwards and the stonework was matched precisely. It was not open to the public.

We walked past this while going through the old town, and wondered what the building was as it is clearly significant. Only when looking it up did we realise it was the Parliament. Although it is not open to go round it is still impressive with the iron chains hanging from the lions’ heads, the huge door knockers and lampposts.

A building politically important and artistically notable. Looking at it you can feel a bit like in Florence. To be seen while walking around.

We didn't plan to visit this at all, but noticed it's Night of Museums 2016 during our arrival, and this Parliament was open for public and free, of course we went there for visit despite a real long queue outside. It's really worth a visit, as it's something we could usually see only in the TV after all.

If want to visit inside, please visit Riga in May for Night of Museums. The exact date please check its official page.
