The cruise itself is nice and you see Riga from a bit different perspective. However, you sit on the side of the boat, so you cannot easily look around and there is absolutely no commentary. So whatever is around you worth noticing, you must dig...More

Our first day in Riga we walked towards the Old Town around the canal. Young lady stopped us with an offer to take an one hour cruise on a smaller boat for Euro15 per person (usually Euro 18). We waited about 15 min and then...More

The cruise is nice, but you don't get ANY information from the guide. The guide spent his whole ride on his phone, and chatting to his friend. He didn;t tell us anything about the city and what we are seeing. I would reccomend other provider,...More

Half price ticket in connection with the red bus sightseeing tour. We loved this relaxing boat tour a lot. The boat brings you in one hour through the inner canal system to the Daugavu river side. No comments made by the skipper, but this makes...More

Took a one-hour cruise on the Arabella, down the River Daugava for about 15 minutes, before turning on to canals for a relaxing 45 minutes. The adrenaline rush of zipping down the big river is replaced by a feeling of quiet satisfaction as the boat...More

Nice way to spend part of your day as you cruise the canal and river past many of Riga's attractions. Reasonable prices and lasts 90 minutes or so. Our captain didn't speak much English so there's no description of the sights. Nevertheless, I thought it...More

This was a lovely way to see the city and its one of the few times I have been on a river and a canal on one boat trip lasting about 1.5 hours. First you travel along the river past the busy port and then...More

I had two different river cruises at two different times on two different days by different companies but I loved them all. It was very pleasant to spend an hour cruising around by boats.

It's a beautiful trip around, you sail through the small canals in the city, where you see the town from a different angle - and it's a beautiful tour! You also get to sail on the big river, where you can see the bridges and...More

We enjoy river cruises to get an overview of a city - and the river/canal combination was absolutely lovely and really did allow us to get our bearings for other things to visit. The staff was very friendly and the 'captain' did point out a...More

The boat has a quay near the back of the Opera house - on the opposite side of the road. You can buy tickets there. We found the "old tram" was fun too and it has a stop nearby.
