Gothic church
Jan. 2020 • Solo
This is quite a majestic and beautiful gothic Anglican church. It dates back to centuries and still looks well maintained and without structural damage. The location is nice to just hang out on an evening and enjoy the sunset or just the traffic passing by opposite the church.

The day I visited the church was closed so didnt get to experience the interior.
It's a definite must-see church when in Old Town Riga.

An Anglican Victorian Gothic church and a very old building dating back in 1859 that has an active involvement in the community.

Nice atmosphere

Looks nice from the outside. Unfortunately shut when we turned up on Monday afternoon. In fact a lot of Riga is shut Monday’s. Still if in area snap a photo or 2.

Friendly place
May 2017 • Friends
The building is nothing special. But if you would find the idea interesting, participate in a service. I have done so a few times in recent years, visiting with different friends. I had not heard a service in English before and I found it genuinely interesting. They are usually at 11, so you don't have to wake up super early. After the service they offered tea and biscuits and I found the overall atmosphere just lovely. I did not know that there is a notable amount of Brits living in Riga and it was lovely to listen to British English. I am not a member of any church myself, but I think that as long as you act respectfully in every way and do not bring a huge group of tourists with you it's not a problem.

Pretty church
Aug. 2016 • Couples
This is a pretty church, but it appears to have some shrubbery growing from its roof! It is located right by the river, and it's very picturesque. We recommend it.

Nothing much
Oct. 2015 • Solo
This nineteenth century Anglican church does not have much to offer. Historically it is relatively new and also from architecture point of view it does not offer much. It only deserves a look if one is near.
