I had greater expectations about this place and I was a bit disappointed, but I have to admit that it was worth to visit, particularly if you want to buy something. The building is nothing special.

To me this was a fascinating place! Local produce is mixed with all sorts of other products, cheap clothes, old cameras, dented bottles of paint, etc etc... It's situated in 4 hangars that was brought here from Germany. Really, it's a must see in Riga!

If you want to explore the world of food here is a good start. You can find berries, vegetables, meat, beans, nuts, fruit, all kinds of fish and it’s all fresh. Here you also find clothes and flowers.

A paradise fir those of us who enjoy food and variety. Old aircraft buildings as such are already worth visiting even if you don’t need to do your gocery shopping.

My sister and I hit up the market during a day of sightseeing and came back three more times to pick up fresh bread and produce during our stay in Riga. Don't miss the dumplings (we tried the chicken for savory and sour cherry for...More

It’s probably season and we had lots of Cherries, Strawberries, Raspberries for bargain. Also interesting to walk in to aircraft hangar-like buildings each selling different products. Good place to visit if you have some time before leaving on a bus or train as it is...More

Suppose to be the biggest market in Europe. It's filled with all different fresh stuff. The location itself is historical and unique.
