One of the most magnificent buildings in Town Hall Square is the House of Blackheads (circa 1334 and rebuilt in 1995-99), which once hosted a brotherhood of foreign merchants and now serves as both a museum and concert hall.

Interesting fact (that we god from our guide) is that this building is presented as restored, but in fact it was fully built from the foundation to mach the old building after it was damaged. So this is not historic but just newly built one....More

Another impressive building with a lot of history. You have to hear the story behind the Blackheads to appreciate it.

Unique architecture and beautiful story about this mansion. Unfortunately it was closed during my visit but only by exterior you can imagine how beautiful it is inside !

Interesting to look at from outside, no entry. Pity there are no details on the house. Who built it when, for why purpose etc etc

Shame the House is closed for the public as the outside is worth a view This was rebuilt from scratch as the original was destroyed in the 2nd world war.

The GF and I were determined to visit the house so made sure we found it despite being a bit tired from walking. Sadly it was not open due to the exhibition being changed. Such a shame as the exterior is amazing
